Dear TTTDAG Members and Supporters, Trades Hall has agreed to hang our banner from their building for a month. We believe such publicity will create greater pressure on the EPA to give us a better cleanup than the one currently on offer. As you know the EPA said for years that this site was safe and wouldn’t leak. Yet we now know that it’s leaking badly and that high concentrations of toxic chemicals are present and need to be contained. We cannot risk living with a third-rate cap. The site must be made safe by an effective cap and proper clean up. This sign will let the general public know of our concerns. We need this publicity to show the EPA that we do not stand alone! The banner cost $1,030. We have very little money in the kitty and we need to raise more. We need your financial help so please be as generous as you can.
